Illustrated Map of Chile

Last year, myself and other fellow illustrators created a series of illustrated maps. You can see them up now on The Mighty Pencil. I chose to do an illustrated map of Chile. It’s a slightly different style than what I normally do, but one I am happy to work in, should the project call for it.

This piece is available as a print here.

Sexy Sunscreen Illustrations for Gay Pride

After creating some sexy sunscreen illustrations promoting the use of sunscreen for Dr. Tanya Kormeili, she decided that she’d like a set specifically for use during the LA Gay Pride Parade this weekend. Keeping these Kama Sutra inspired illustrations sexy but not too sexy, was challenging and fun.

And remember to wear your sunscreen this summer! As a pale red-head, I know what I’m talking about.

Smoke Jumpers for Earth Island Journal

This editorial illustration for Earth Island Journal’s Summer issue accompanies an article about a little-known source of pollution: black carbon. Reducing black carbon is not only easier than reducing CO2 but can have a much faster effect and could help slow down the warming of the planet. Thanks to AD Jason Mark!

The original painting is for sale in my shop and prints are available here.
